The Canonica is situated at the top of the hill of Corteranzo, in the heart of Piedmont, a corner of northern Italy renowned for its rich heritage, artistic splendours and beautiful countryside. Just an hour’s drive away lie the Alps, for skiing in winter or trekking in the summer. Meanwhile the unspoilt hills around the Canonica are a wonderful place to explore on foot, riding a horse or a bike, or kayaking on the Po river… Piedmont’s cuisine is another source of pride: you can enjoy discovering its time-honoured gastronomic delights during tours of local wineries and farms.We are also ideally placed to explore two of Italy’s fashion and design capitals, Milan and Turin: close enough for a day trip to take in their historic splendours and contemporary buzz.
